Internal Complaints Committee

The institute is strictly adhering to the Government guidelines for the prevention of sexual harassment of women at work place. So far, no case relating to sexual harassment of women has been recorded in the institute. A committee has been constituted by involving seven members of the college to ensure that women are protected against sexual harassment at work places of the institute. The committee ensures insulation against the false complaints on anybody in the institution.

The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 14, 2013 is a legislative act in India that seeks to protect women from sexual harassment at their place of work.

Objectives of ICC

The objectives of the Internal Complaint Committee are as follows:

  • To create a secure physical and social environment to prevent any act of sexual harassment.
  • To raise awareness on sexual harassment in the campus.
  • To uphold the commitment of the Institute to provide an environment free of gender-based discrimination.
