Anti-Ragging Cell

Anti-ragging cell is established in the college for preventing ragging as per the UGC.Posters about anti-ragging with helpline number are displayed in the college and hostel premises. Students are instructed in the meeting held at the beginning of first semester about anti-ragging measures. Senior students are counselled about the consequences, if they are found indulging in such activities.

An anti-ragging committee was constituted by the Dean/Principal of the college every year with coordinator. Anti-ragging squad makes surprise visits for confirming the comfort of the newly admitted students. Display of UGC norms on ragging in key places on the campus.

Objectives Of Anti-Ragging Committee

  • To aware the students of dehumanizing effect of ragging inherent in its perversity.
  • To keep a continuous watch and vigil over ragging so as to prevent its occurrence and recurrence.
  • To promptly and stringently deal with the incidents of ragging brought to our notice.
  • To generate an atmosphere of discipline by sending a clear message that no act of ragging shall be tolerated and any act of ragging shall not go unnoticed and unpunished.
